Infrastructure is used to describe buildings, homes, roads, and other large structures in a society. In today’s class we talked about climate change effects on the infrastructure in South Asia. The article estimated that there will be many deaths in the future of poor South Asian areas because many people that live there can’t afford stronger and more expensive infrastructure (buildings, homes, roads). They are specifically talking about people that live in homes that are made out of sticks, mud, and other natural items that can not protect against violent weather.
