The origin of this phrase could be either of the two stated below. 
이 구절의 기원은 아래의 두 이야기 중 하나 일수 있다.
Important men in the medieval times would have a herald share stories of their greatness. The process would start by the blowing of a horn, which has over time converted to a trumpet .
중세 시대에 중요한 사람들이 자신들의 훌륭함에 대한 이야기를 하려고 한다.  경적소리는 내면서 시작을 한다. 시간이 지나면서 경적은 트럼펫으로 바뀌었다. 
The act of blowing a trumpet makes a lot of noise and draws attention to one's self. 
트럼펫을 부는 행위는 큰 소음을 만들고 다른사람들의 주의를 끈다
That is where it could have originated from. 
이것이 "자화자찬을 하다(blow one's own trumpet) "의 기원이 될수 있다.
