Greetings, My name is Brian and I am a native English speaker from North America. I was born and raised in an area called Houston, Texas. Houston is very close to Mexico and has a large population of Hispanic people. As a result of living so close to Mexico, I have had many opportunities to help people with their English. I never imagined that I would be a teacher. School was very difficult for me and as a result, I did not like it very much. I eventually learned that the reason school was so difficult for me is because I am a kinetic learner and school is mainly a visual and auditory learning environment, with the exception of P.E. and math, both of which I excelled at. I started playing guitar in 1985 and began teaching guitar in 1990. I was a professional musician from 1993 until 2005. I (officially) began training in martial arts in 1987 and I began teaching martial arts in 2005. I had my own business teaching children martial arts after school at local schools from 2005. My teacher retired in 2008 and I opened a martial arts school in 2009. I closed my school in 2020 but I still teach private lessons. I have lots of experience teaching and have had 1000’s of students over the years. I still teach guitar and martial arts and I am expanding my curriculum to include English. I am a very experienced teacher with a clear understanding of the process of teaching and how to streamline that process to make the most possible progress with the least amount of effort in the fastest possible time frame. That said, a students progress ultimately depends on their own efforts as much as their teachers efforts. It is not hard, but is does take time, patience and discipline. Students who practice every day get better every day. A good teacher and a good student can accomplish their goals effectively and efficiently in a timely manner. I love teaching and I love helping people, and I would love to help you master the English language. 안녕하세요, 제 이름은 브라이언입니다. 저는 미국 출신의 영어 원어민이에요. 제가 태어나고 자란 곳은 미국 텍사스 주 휴스턴이에요. 휴스턴은 멕시코에 매우 가깝고 히스패닉 인구가 많이 살고 있어요. 멕시코에 아주 가까이 살다 보니 영어 도움을 주는 기회가 많았어요. 저는 영어 선생님이 될 줄은 꿈에도 몰랐어요. 학교가 저에게는 매우 어려웠고 그 결과로 학교를 별로 좋아하지 않았어요. 결국에는 학교가 왜 그렇게 어려웠는지 알게 되었는데, 저는 운동을 통한 학습자이고, 체육과 수학을 제외하고는 학교는 주로 시각적이고 청각적인 학습 환경이었기 때문이었어요. 그때문에 저는 체육과 수학에는 아주 뛰어났어요. 저는 1985년에 기타를 시작해서 1990년에 기타를 가르치기 시작했어요. 1993년부터 2005년까지 프로 음악가로 활동했어요. 정식으로 무술을 배우기 시작한 건 1987년이고, 2005년부터 무술을 가르치기 시작했어요. 2005년부터는 학교 방과 후에 현지 학교에서 어린이들에게 무술을 가르쳤어요. 제 선생님이 2008년에 은퇴하시고, 제가 2009년에 무술 학교를 개설했어요. 제 학교는 2020년에 문을 닫았지만 지금도 개인 레슨을 하고 있어요. 저는 오랜 경력을 가진 선생님으로, 이를 가르치는 과정과 그 과정을 최대한 효율적으로 만들기 위한 방법을 명확하게 이해하고 있어요. 하지만 학생들의 발전은 교사의 노력만큼이나 학생의 노력에 달려 있어요. 어렵지 않지만 시간과 인내, 그리고 규율이 필요해요. 매일 연습하는 학생들은 매일 더 나아져요. 좋은 선생님과 좋은 학생은 목표를 효과적이고 효율적으로 달성할 수 있어요. 저는 가르치는 것을 사랑하고 사람들을 돕는 것을 좋아하고, 여러분이 영어를 마스터하는 데 도움이 되고 싶어요. 여러분의 한 일원으로 초대해 주셔서 감사해요. 여러분의 친절함에 보답하기 위해 최선을 다하겠습니다.
